Description:

  • Zscaler is seeking a Velocity Sales Engineer to join their Americas Field Sales team based in Costa Rica.
  • The role involves responding to inbound requests from Zscaler partner business managers, partners, or distribution for assistance on first calls, demos, or other technical pre-sales activities.
  • The Sales Engineer will provide technical influence and guidance to the partner community, focusing on regional resellers and distribution partners.
  • Responsibilities include assisting partners through education, co-selling activities, and solutions demo center labs.
  • The position requires educating partners via training classes, architecture workshops, and other awareness activities, emphasizing the outcomes of these activities.
  • The Sales Engineer will work closely with other Velocity team members on in-theater engagement with partners.
  • Travel up to 10% is required to support partner engagements, industry events, and internal development.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required for this position.
  • Candidates must have 4+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Technical Pre-sales, or Systems Integrator.
  • Knowledge of network security technologies is essential.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
