Description:

  • The Web Analytics Lead will be responsible for leading the delivery of web analytics, data strategy, architecture, media, and user-centric site optimization for clients.
  • This role involves managing a team of data analysts and ensuring high-quality client-focused delivery, reporting directly to the executive director.
  • The position is remote but requires the candidate to reside in Africa.
  • Responsibilities include managing a portfolio of projects for Tier-1 clients, leading and training a team of consultants, collaborating with engineers and data scientists, creating project plans, driving project scope definition, facilitating workshops, and contributing to business growth through proposal creation and upsell opportunities.
  • The candidate should have experience with Martech/AdTech tools and online acquisition channels.

Requirements:

  • The candidate must have 4-7 years of experience in digital consulting, digital marketing, business strategy, and analysis; a Master's degree is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics is essential.
  • Familiarity with developer tools like GTM and Tealium, media tools for ad serving and social media, cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services, and data visualization tools such as Data Studio and Tableau is required.
  • Excellent written, visual, and oral communication skills are necessary, with a strong ability to tell stories and visualize data.
  • A proactive approach to coaching and leading teammates, whether in-person or remotely, is important.
