• The position reports to the Website Development Manager and involves building, deploying, and maintaining websites for a diverse clientele.
• Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining websites in Webflow and WordPress, implementing new features and customizations.
• The role requires creating website layouts and user interfaces while collaborating with designers to match visual intent.
• The Web Developer will write well-designed, testable, and efficient code using best practices.
• Responsibilities also include gathering and refining specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
• The developer will optimize websites for search engines (SEO), speed, and performance.
• Additional tasks involve performing website updates, content management, and troubleshooting issues.
• The role includes maintaining, expanding, and scaling client websites.
• Staying up-to-date with web development trends, technologies, and industry standards to propose improvements is essential.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, meet client expectations, and provide progress updates is required.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in web development is required.
• Experience building sites in Webflow is necessary.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and responsive web design is essential.
• An understanding of UI/UX principles and web accessibility standards is required.
• The ability to interpret client requirements and estimate development timelines is necessary.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills are required.
• Preferred qualifications include experience building custom themes and plugins for WordPress.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and Shopify theme development with Liquid templating is preferred.
• Experience implementing SEO enhancements and web performance optimizations is desirable.
• An understanding of web security principles and best practices is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
• The ability to mentor junior developers is preferred.
• For the Custom Applications Role, knowledge of the MERN Tech Stack, including MongoDB, ExpressJS, React (or Angular), Node.JS, version control systems like Git, REST APIs, integrations, and unit testing is a plus.
