The Web Personalization & Experience Optimization Practice Lead at Verndale will guide clients in creating personalized web experiences that drive business outcomes.
This role involves shaping and scaling the personalization offering, leading client engagements on platforms like Optimizely and Sitecore, and utilizing experimentation and data to create measurable business impact.
The position is fully remote enabled or can be hybrid out of the Boston location.
Responsibilities include developing personalized digital strategies, leading client-facing engagements, driving personalization workshops, and contributing to pre-sales efforts.
The role requires defining and scaling the personalization practice, guiding implementation on various platforms, and ensuring quality and consistency across strategy development and execution.
The Practice Lead will also drive client impact by leading discovery sessions, architecting end-to-end personalization strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Additionally, the role supports sales and business development by shaping personalization solutions and contributing to thought leadership.
Mentoring and enabling cross-functional teams in personalization strategies and tools is also a key responsibility.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 8–10+ years of experience in digital personalization, experimentation, or digital experience optimization.
Hands-on expertise in designing and launching web personalization on Optimizely and Sitecore is required.
A strong understanding of segmentation, audience targeting, content variation, and decision logic is necessary.
Experience in designing and running A/B, multivariate, and multi-armed bandit tests is essential.
Proven ability to lead workshops and facilitate ideation sessions is required.
Candidates should be comfortable using web analytics platforms to inform strategies and measure performance.
Familiarity with CDPs, customer journey orchestration tools, and composable architectures is preferred.
Experience in a consulting or agency environment with direct client-facing responsibilities is necessary.
Excellent storytelling, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills are required.
Strong documentation and communication capabilities across technical and non-technical audiences are essential.
A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Strategy, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred.
