Description:

• We are hiring a WordPress Website Developer to join our client's remote team.
• This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of WordPress, solid technical skills, and an eye for good website aesthetics.
• You will manage ongoing maintenance and updates for our client’s website and client websites.
• Your responsibilities include building and modifying responsive, visually clean pages using WordPress.
• You will detect and remove malware or suspicious files from websites.
• The role involves handling regular maintenance and fixes for 2–10 client websites, primarily WordPress-based.
• You will customize WordPress themes and plugins as needed.
• Optimizing websites for speed and performance is a key part of your job.
• You will provide internal technical support for the team.
• Staying up to date with trends in WordPress development and website best practices is essential.
• The position requires 3+ years of proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio.

Requirements:

• You must have strong knowledge of WordPress architecture, theme, and plugin customization.
• Experience in detecting and removing malware and suspicious code/files is required.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, and responsive design principles is necessary.
• An understanding of technical SEO and website performance optimization is essential.
• You should be able to manage multiple projects independently in a remote setting.
• Strong written English comprehension for internal communication is required.
• Experience with Avada is a plus.
• Experience with additional CMS platforms (e.g., Shopify, Wix, Webflow) is a bonus.
• You must be able to work full-time CST hours (Mon–Fri, 9am–6pm CST).
• This position is only open to candidates residing in Latin American (LATAM) countries.
