Remote Windchill Solution Architect(Remote)

Description:

• This is a REMOTE role, and candidates must be comfortable working from their home office.
• The role involves designing, implementing, testing, and supporting PTC's Windchill solutions.
• The individual will lead a team of developers to achieve both technical and functional goals.
• Responsibilities include designing customizations and extensions that meet customer requirements.
• The position requires developing solutions around Change Objects, Parts, Documents, BOM Structures, Effectivity, etc.
• The candidate will troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing Windchill instances and supporting software.
• Advising customers on the specification of software processes is also a key responsibility.
• The role includes integrating CAD tools with Windchill and upgrading the Windchill PLM solution.
• The candidate will migrate data from legacy systems into the Windchill environment.
• Acting as the Windchill Architect lead, the individual will create new approaches to solve problems and grow the business.
• Conducting Gap Analysis and performing data integration and migration is required.
• The candidate will analyze clients' data models and advise on the best ways to cleanse, manipulate, and prepare data for migration.
• Advising customers about or performing maintenance of the software system is part of the role.
• The individual will propose high-level PLM solution designs to improve and/or optimize existing product development processes.
• Developing software-testing procedures through conducting trial runs of programs and software applications to ensure customer satisfaction is essential.
• The candidate will independently install, customize, and integrate software solutions.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with PTC Windchill, Windchill API, and Java/JSP is required.
• Expert knowledge of PTC's Windchill 11.1 or later versions is necessary.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
• Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or in a similar role is essential.
• A desire to learn about and implement new technology is expected.
• The ability to focus on multiple projects simultaneously is required.
