Requirements:

• Candidates must have professional experience with WordPress plugin development, architecture, and coding standards.
• Advanced proficiency in PHP and MySQL is required, including modern PHP practices such as OOP, namespacing, traits, interfaces, and autoloading.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (vanilla JS, jQuery, ES6) and experience with front-end development is necessary.
• Familiarity with build tools like Gulp and Webpack, as well as package managers like Composer and NPM, is expected.
• Experience working with third-party APIs (e.g., Stripe, Zapier, Drip) is required.
• Competence in Git/GitHub version control is essential.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to simplify complex solutions are necessary.
• Previous experience in remote or freelance roles is a plus.
• Bonus skills include knowledge of JS frameworks like VueJS or React, e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads), or DevOps/infrastructure management.
• Candidates must be available to participate in audio/video meetings during 9 am - 5 pm EST.
