Laminar Projects is seeking an ambitious Senior Azure Data Engineer to join their team, focused on solving real-world problems in construction and infrastructure.
The role involves building data solutions for clients and internal reporting, productizing client solutions, following and developing processes, and sharing knowledge with the team.
The Data & Digital team utilizes modern technologies such as Azure, Fabric, Power BI, and Python to enhance project performance.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 4 years of experience working with SQL, including building and optimizing analytics tables and complex queries, is required.
At least 3 years of experience designing and implementing data solutions in Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks is necessary.
Proficiency in Python and Azure Functions for data infrastructure integration is essential.
Strong experience in software engineering fundamentals, including testing, Git version control, agile development, and knowledge sharing through code review and documentation is required.
Preferred qualifications include Microsoft Certification as an Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert, experience with Microsoft Power BI, and experience in leading data/software teams.
