Requirements:
Candidates must have 6+ years of experience working in a production application with real-world users.
A minimum of 3+ years in an applied AI/ML supporting role is required.

Candidates should demonstrate the ability to research, architect, deploy, and maintain complex AI/ML systems at scale.
Deep experience with semantic and vector search techniques using search engines like Elasticsearch, Lucene, or Solr is necessary.
A proven track record of evaluating, implementing, and leveraging both open-source and hosted AI solutions is required.
A strong background in Python for ML development and tooling with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow is needed.
Advanced ML Ops practices, including Docker/Kubernetes, AWS SageMaker, and MLflow, are essential.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control best practices (Git & GitHub) is required.
Familiarity with vector databases, major open-source and hosted AI providers, large-scale data pipeline tools, cloud platforms, and distributed systems is a plus.

The compensation range for this role is USD $160,000 to $264,000 if based in the US, and CAD $176,000 to $292,000 if based in Canada.
