Description:

  • The Azure Cloud DevOps Engineer will be responsible for implementing and managing our cloud infrastructure, focusing on Azure services.
  • This role requires a highly skilled individual with extensive hands-on experience in cloud environments, particularly Azure, and a passion for working collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and managing Azure IaaS solutions to support application deployment and infrastructure needs.
  • The engineer will utilize Azure DevOps to streamline development, build, and release processes, ensuring efficient CI/CD pipelines and automation.
  • Collaboration with development, operations, and security teams is essential to foster a collaborative environment that encourages continuous improvement and innovation.
  • The role involves administering and managing Azure Active Directory, including user and group management, role-based access control (RBAC), and security policies.
  • Implementing monitoring solutions to ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of cloud services is a key responsibility.
  • The engineer will analyze system performance and recommend optimizations.
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures is required to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving cloud infrastructure and deployment issues in a timely manner is expected, leveraging strong problem-solving skills.
  • Staying current with the latest Azure features and best practices, and making recommendations for improvements and upgrades is also part of the role.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • Candidates must have 8+ years of hands-on experience working with cloud environments, ideally with a strong focus on Azure.
  • Proven experience with Azure DevOps, including setting up CI/CD pipelines and automation processes, is necessary.
  • Extensive experience with Azure IaaS solutions and services is required.
  • Strong experience administering Azure Active Directory, including managing users and roles, is essential.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and a team-oriented mindset are required for this position.
  • Candidates must possess strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
