Description:
The Azure Cloud DevOps Engineer will be responsible for implementing and managing our cloud infrastructure, focusing on Azure services.
This role requires a highly skilled individual with extensive hands-on experience in cloud environments, particularly Azure, and a passion for working collaboratively in a team setting.
Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and managing Azure IaaS solutions to support application deployment and infrastructure needs.
The engineer will utilize Azure DevOps to streamline development, build, and release processes, ensuring efficient CI/CD pipelines and automation.
Collaboration with development, operations, and security teams is essential to foster a collaborative environment that encourages continuous improvement and innovation.
The role involves administering and managing Azure Active Directory, including user and group management, role-based access control (RBAC), and security policies.
Implementing monitoring solutions to ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of cloud services is a key responsibility.
The engineer will analyze system performance and recommend optimizations.
Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures is required to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance.
Troubleshooting and resolving cloud infrastructure and deployment issues in a timely manner is expected, leveraging strong problem-solving skills.
Staying current with the latest Azure features and best practices, and making recommendations for improvements and upgrades is also part of the role.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 8+ years of hands-on experience working with cloud environments, ideally with a strong focus on Azure.
Proven experience with Azure DevOps, including setting up CI/CD pipelines and automation processes, is necessary.
Extensive experience with Azure IaaS solutions and services is required.
Strong experience administering Azure Active Directory, including managing users and roles, is essential.
Excellent collaboration skills and a team-oriented mindset are required for this position.
Candidates must possess strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
