Jobgether is seeking a Backend Engineer II to develop and maintain infrastructure for critical business operations in the United States.
The role involves working on a collaborative, cross-functional team to build secure and scalable backend systems that support healthcare innovation.
Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining robust backend services, participating in an on-call rotation for platform reliability, and collaborating across teams for technical solutions.
The engineer will implement best practices for privacy and security to protect user data and write clean, efficient code with scalability in mind.
The position requires contributing ideas for new product features and leveraging data to improve outcomes.
Technologies used in this role include Python, AWS, Kubernetes, Postgres, and ElasticSearch.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience building scalable backend systems.
Proficiency in Python is required for this position.
Experience with event-driven and request-driven microservices architecture is necessary.
A strong understanding of AWS services and hands-on experience with SQL is required.
Candidates should have experience deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes environments.
Exposure to TypeScript is a plus but not mandatory.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams is expected.

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $135,000 to $165,000, depending on experience.
