Description:

The Senior Software Engineer will lead and mentor engineers, delivering high-value products and scalable infrastructure.
The product monitors the security posture for thousands of companies, processing tens of millions of API calls daily and running continuous tests to identify potential security threats.
The role involves setting technical direction for infrastructure scalability and driving complex projects across the technical stack.
The Identity team focuses on authentication systems and authorization frameworks to support enterprise customers.
Responsibilities include designing composable systems for user data modeling, supporting policy-based authorization, and establishing interface contracts for identity services.
The engineer will lead projects with multiple stakeholders, collaborate with Security for best practices, support design reviews, and mentor junior team members.
The role requires making trade-offs considering business priorities, user experience, and technical sustainability.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 8 years of industry experience in backend development.
Strong knowledge of authentication protocols (OIDC, SAML) and identity federation concepts (SSO) is required.
Experience with authorization frameworks (RBAC, policy-based access control) is necessary.
Candidates should have experience building scalable platform services across multiple teams.
Strong data modeling skills for complex systems are essential.
Experience solving distributed systems challenges related to performance and security is required.
Candidates must have successfully led complex technical migrations while maintaining system stability.
A security-focused mindset and understanding of enterprise security practices are necessary.
Experience mentoring and collaborating with other engineers is required.
