As a Backend TypeScript Engineer, you will develop and maintain critical backend systems for the travel platform.
You will work on challenging projects that directly impact user experiences and help scale the business.
Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and optimizing RESTful APIs using TypeScript and Node.js, developing core business logic, and optimizing database queries.
You will collaborate with frontend teams for seamless integration and participate in code reviews.
The role involves integrating LLM-powered features, developing APIs for LLM models, and implementing robust error handling.
You will contribute to the design of new features, assist in backend architecture evolution, and write clean, documented, and well-tested code.

Requirements:

You must have 3+ years of professional development experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
A strong understanding of RESTful API design principles is required.
Proficiency in PostgreSQL and ORMs, specifically Prisma, is necessary.
Experience with LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) and their integration into backend systems is essential.
Familiarity with prompt engineering and LLM fine-tuning concepts is required.
Experience with Redis for caching and session management is necessary.
You should be familiar with containerized environments, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with monorepo structures and build systems, such as Yarn, Nx, and Turbo, is required.
Familiarity with cloud services, preferably AWS, is necessary.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in an async environment are required.
Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines is necessary.
