Description:

As a BI Analyst at Sporty, you will mine through petabytes of data to provide key insights that drive core business decisions.
You will create dashboards used daily by product managers, traders, and executives, and provide in-depth reports on various business areas with complete freedom in your methodology.
Analysts play a key role in ensuring the stability of the reporting infrastructure, maintaining the ability to deliver accurate and consistent reporting to stakeholders.
Responsibilities include setting up and executing extract, transformation, and load (ETL) functions to build a data pipeline.
You will extract and analyze large data sets from MySQL and perform performance tuning for current and newly added queries to ensure full utilization of database resources.
Deliver clear analysis and reporting of core business metrics to shareholders, manage reports and dashboards, and enhance existing reporting processes.
Conduct ad hoc analysis and reporting to clients and shareholders, aid in reconfiguring existing architecture and database structure, and maintain and monitor all BI-related databases and dashboards.
Provide actionable insights to drive the growth of core products.

Requirements:

You must have 3+ years of experience in a similar data-driven role.
Excellent working knowledge of SQL is required.
Familiarity with Python and a range of BI and data visualization tools is necessary.
Strong knowledge of ETL data pipelines and A/B Testing is essential.
Familiarity with Airflow and understanding of principles of relational databases and data warehouses is needed.
A strong understanding of sports and gaming will be beneficial.
You should be proactive and self-driven with excellent analytical skills.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment is important.
Great communication skills are required.
Relevant knowledge or experience in the gaming industry is preferred.
Hands-on experience with machine learning is a nice-to-have.
