This is a full-time work from home opportunity for a star BI data engineer from India.

The position is for a Mid-level Business Intelligence Engineer to join the global team.
The individual will perform data analysis, ELT/ETL design, and support functions to deliver on strategic initiatives to meet organizational goals across many lines of business.
The interview process will be conducted in English.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in ELT/ETL design, development, and populating data warehouses from heterogeneous OLTP or API sources.
Excellent English communication skills are required.
Mastery in Business Intelligence and Data warehousing concepts and methodologies is necessary.
Extensive experience in data analysis and root cause analysis with proven problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities is essential.
Candidates should have extensive expertise in databases, data acquisition, ELT/ETL strategies, and tools and technologies using Pentaho/Kettle Data Integration/Ab Initio ETL tool.
Experience designing complex ELT/ETL processes extracting data from RDBMS, JSON, API, and flat file sources is required.
Strong SQL programming skills and relational database skills with expertise in cloud RDBMS systems like Snowflake, Oracle DB, MySQL, Redshift, etc., are necessary.
Candidates should be able to analyze poorly performing queries and provide suggestions to tune them.
Understanding of software engineering principles and skills working on Unix/Linux/Windows Operating systems, Agile is required.
Exposure to standard support ticket management tools like JIRA/Git is necessary.
An interest in business and an understanding of how strong BI systems drive corporate profitability is essential.
