Description:
The Clinical Data Analyst will play a crucial role in improving patient outcomes and enhancing care coordination by transforming healthcare data into actionable insights.
This position will directly impact decision-making across clinical and operational teams by developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that reflect provider performance and population health metrics.
The analyst will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to analyze complex datasets, including claims, lab, pharmacy, and EMR data.
Responsibilities include gathering and translating stakeholder requirements into clear, actionable data tasks.
The role involves developing and optimizing complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate healthcare data.
The analyst will analyze diverse datasets to inform clinical programs and operational processes.
Building and maintaining reports and dashboards to monitor patient populations and care utilization is essential.
Collaboration with clinical and operational teams will support data-driven decision-making.
Ensuring data accuracy, quality, and integrity across multiple data sources is a key responsibility.
The analyst will present findings and insights to leadership and internal/external stakeholders to support business initiatives.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Healthcare, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience in clinical or healthcare data analysis.
Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing complex datasets is required.
Experience working with healthcare data such as claims, lab results, and pharmacy data is necessary.
Familiarity with healthcare coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, DRG) and quality measures (HEDIS, CMS, NCQA) is required.
Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel, are necessary.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI is required.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate technical information effectively are essential.
