Remote Cloud Engineer

Description:

• Cyrex, a security and software development company, is seeking a talented intermediate/senior level Cloud Engineer to join their internal development team.
• The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for tackling complex problems, providing technical guidance and support to fellow developers, and actively contributing to the team's daily activities.
• The role involves having technical oversight of cloud architecture/infrastructure and backend stack of a specific project, proposing changes, flagging issues, and maintaining/improving general quality standards.
• The position offers the opportunity to work on various tasks, participate in technical brainstorming, and discussions on problem-solving strategies.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud architecture/development.
• Advanced knowledge of AWS services, especially networking.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Go.
• Advanced experience in Terraform/OpenTofu for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Solid knowledge of Kubernetes, capable of creating/managing a cluster comfortably.
• Good understanding of web application security.
• Some experience with SQL.
• Proficiency in CI/CD and automation.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
