Remote Cloud Engineer

Description:

• Cyrex, a security and software development company, is seeking a talented intermediate/senior level Cloud Engineer to join their internal development team.
• The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for tackling complex problems, providing technical guidance and support to fellow developers, and actively contributing to daily team activities.
• The role involves having technical oversight of cloud architecture/infrastructure and backend stack of a specific project, proposing changes, flagging issues, and maintaining/improving general quality standards.
• The Cloud Engineer will work with a diverse, international team of experts to deliver top-notch quality on products.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience working with cloud architecture/development.
• Advanced knowledge of AWS services, especially networking.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Go.
• Advanced experience in Terraform/OpenTofu for IaC.
• Solid knowledge of Kubernetes, able to create/manage a cluster comfortably.
• Good grasp of web application security.
• Some experience with SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD and automation.
• Must be a problem solver.
• Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
• Must be a team player.
