The Data Architect will lead architectural discussions and design exercises to build and automate large-scale data migrations with clients and Hakkoda teams in the UK and Portugal.
The qualified candidate must have technical experience analyzing system requirements and implementing migration methods for existing data.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in computer science, information systems, Mathematics, MIS, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 6 years of proven work experience in data warehousing, BI, or analytics is necessary.
At least 3 years of experience as an Architect is required.
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience working in Cloud platforms.
An understanding of migration, dev/ops, and ETL/ELT ingestion pipelines with tools like DataStage, Informatica, and Matillion is essential.
Experience in Data Modeling is required.
Candidates should have experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google.
Project management skills and experience working with Scrum and Agile Development methods are necessary.
Strong communication skills and the ability to guide clients and team members are required.
People leadership skills are essential for this role.
