Description:
Capco is seeking a Data Engineer to join their expanding team for banking clients in Brno, Czech Republic.
The role involves being part of an agile team focused on transformation challenges around data.
You will work with some of the largest banks in the world on projects that aim to transform the financial services industry.
Responsibilities include modernizing processes, developing and optimizing state-of-the-art solutions, and managing data from business analysis to implementation.
The position offers opportunities to gradually take on more responsibility and lead sub-projects and smaller project teams.
Requirements:
A successfully completed university degree is required.
Fluency in English is mandatory, and knowledge of German is a significant advantage.
Strong interest and working experience in one or more of the following areas: data analysis, working with large datasets, data quality management, business analysis, and business process optimization.
Proficiency in SQL and Python is essential.
Experience with Git and Google Cloud Platform (or other cloud providers) is required.
Experience mapping Data to Actimize SAM Data Structure is a significant advantage.
A background in Anti Financial Crime (AML) is also advantageous.
