Description:
We are seeking an experienced data scientist to deliver insights daily, with a strong foundation in machine learning, statistics, and data manipulation.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in data science and 2+ years in a leadership or team lead role.
Advanced proficiency in Python, R, and SQL is required, along with skills in Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio.
Familiarity with ETL pipelines and data warehousing concepts is essential.
Experience with Jupyter Notebooks, Git, and Agile workflows is necessary.
Excellent communication skills are required to explain complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
A degree in Statistics, Data Science, Applied Math, or a related field is mandatory.
Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools such as BigQuery, Google Cloud Storage, Vertex AI, Google Colab, Looker Studio, Analytics 360, GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ad Manager is essential.
Experience with Apache Airflow, Databricks, data modeling, and database design, including partitioning strategies for large tables, is required.
The candidate will lead the development of predictive models and advanced analytics to uncover user behaviors and content trends.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, reporting tools, and dashboards.
The role involves collaborating across editorial, marketing, and commercial teams to deliver data-driven strategies.
The candidate will champion A/B testing and experimentation frameworks to optimize content performance and contribute to the architecture and integrity of the data warehouse.
Conducting ad-hoc analysis and delivering actionable insights to non-technical stakeholders is also part of the job.
