Description:

Eight Sleep is seeking an experienced Data Scientist focused on growth, with a strong background in sales and marketing data.
The role involves developing and maintaining predictive models for sales growth, customer behavior, and lifetime value.
The Data Scientist will create a Media Mix Model to assess spending across various channels.
Collaboration with Growth and Finance teams is essential to provide insights for incremental revenue growth.
The position requires leading quantitative analysis to inform the CEO, CFO, and VP of Growth about marketing performance and member behavior.
Responsibilities include creating and maintaining dashboards for key marketing metrics and building full-cycle analytics experiments using SQL, R, Python, or other tools.
The Data Scientist will identify growth opportunities in the marketing funnel and translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations.
The role also involves translating product objectives into data science problems and building analytical ETLs to support data science models.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in data science, ideally in a marketing or growth-focused role.
Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau is necessary.
Experience with programming languages like Python or R is required.
Candidates should have experience building data pipelines (ETL) using dbt or similar tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
The ability to synthesize complex information and data to inform decision-making is required.
