They are searching for a talented Data Scientist to join their engineering team as they expand their data science efforts.
The platform is connected to thousands of publishers and advertisers worldwide, dealing with millions of requests each second and making billions of decisions.
The role involves innovating ML algorithms to maximize ROI and advertising performance, which includes creating new algorithms, improving state-of-the-art methods, and developing a deep understanding of classic methods.
Responsibilities include writing production code in collaboration with Data Engineers to implement novel ML algorithms, prototyping potential algorithms and pipelines, testing them using historical data, and iterating based on insights.
StackAdapt is a Remote First company, open to candidates located anywhere in Canada.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field; dual degrees are a plus.
The ability to take an ambiguously defined task and break it down into actionable steps is essential.
A comprehensive understanding of statistics, optimization, and machine learning is required.
Proficiency in coding, data structures, and algorithms is necessary.
