The role of DevOps Engineer is available within the Platform Tribe, which is the backbone of Playson’s technological operations.
The team is responsible for driving automation, optimizing infrastructure, and ensuring the seamless performance of critical systems.
The position offers significant autonomy and ownership over projects without micromanagement.
The ideal candidate should be proactive and excel in a high-traffic, fast-paced environment, ensuring systems operate seamlessly while driving improvements and innovations.
Responsibilities include maintaining and upgrading critical infrastructure, managing live issues, spearheading automation projects, troubleshooting issues, monitoring operational performance, contributing to strategic enhancements, and solving complex problems in a high-traffic environment.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
Proficiency in Linux and Docker or other container management systems is required.
Strong knowledge of AWS services, including VPC, EKS, RDS, ElasticCache, EC2, S3, CloudFront, and ECR is essential.
Mastery in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Terragrunt, and Serverless Framework is necessary.
Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, and Grafana is required.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins is expected.
Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Groovy are needed.
Hands-on experience with GitHub for version control is required.
A university degree in IT, computer science, or a related field is mandatory.
Nice to have: Advanced understanding of Kubernetes RBAC, knowledge of Kafka, ClickHouse, and FluxCD/ArgoCD, and familiarity with ticketing systems like Jira.
