Description:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps candidate to join our team and contribute to our Cloud focused DevOps initiatives.
Desirable candidates will have solid experience and focus on Linux, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Compliance as Code practices.
The ideal candidate will have a robust technical background and the proven ability to be a self-motivated individual contributor while also working effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities include providing technical guidance for automation projects and mentoring in industry best practices.
The candidate will develop, test, and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Compliance as Code in our Cloud environments.
They will implement self-service tooling for operations teams to enhance operational effectiveness of infrastructure and services.
The role involves contributing to initiatives to implement self-diagnosing and healing of infrastructure and services.
The candidate will develop tooling and improve processes to automate monitoring, metrics collection, and analysis.
They will ensure documentation of solutions with all details required for implementation and produce documentation suitable for internal and customer-facing presentations.
The candidate will handle multiple work streams across multiple engagements.

Requirements:

A current Top Secret clearance is required.
Candidates must have certifications such as Current Security+ and Linux (e.g., Linux+, RHSCA) or be able to obtain them within three months of starting.
Expertise in Shell Scripting (Bash, Korn, C) is necessary.
Candidates must be experts in developing and implementing solutions using Python.
Experience with scripted automation of AWS Cloud tasks using Boto3, AWS CLI, or similar tools is required.
Proficiency in using and developing Ansible for Linux configuration management and automation of routine tasks is essential.
Candidates must have expert-level skills in Linux troubleshooting and log file forensics.
A strong working knowledge of AWS Cloud is required, with a preference for AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect Associate.
The ability to debug and resolve complex issues in cloud environments is necessary.
A security and detail-oriented methodology is essential.
Demonstrable experience in Enterprise-level environments with a large number of hosts is required.
Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multitask across projects.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are necessary.
