The position is for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer who will lead the modernization of software solutions by transitioning legacy applications from monolithic architectures to secure, containerized microservices.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevSecOps practices, particularly within AWS cloud environments.
This role involves guiding development teams in leveraging CI/CD pipelines, open-source tools, and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions.
The DevSecOps Engineer will play a critical part in building and sustaining a secure microservices factory to support agile software delivery in mission-critical environments.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in software development, DevSecOps, or related fields is required.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience implementing DevSecOps practices in AWS cloud environments is necessary.
Candidates must possess an AWS Associate certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate).
A DoD 8570 IAT II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, or equivalent) is required.
An active IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at the time of proposal submission is mandatory.
Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and security automation is essential.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and mentor development teams are required.
