The Veeva Link engineering team seeks Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to build and operate AI language features that assist global clients in bringing products to market faster.
Responsibilities include working within a cross-functional application team to build scalable language services in NLP, NLU, and NLG for live SaaS products, developing and grooming an experiment backlog, building models that solve real-world problems, optimizing models for production throughput and uptime requirements, and automating deployments, testing, and monitoring (MLOps).

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience developing data and analytics products such as sentiment analyzers, translation engines, summarizers, or other language services.
Expertise in Machine Learning, Modeling, and development with Python is required.
Candidates should be experts in MLOps with experience in at least one platform, such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or end-to-end automation with SageMaker services.
The ability to mentor others and work independently is essential.
Strong communication skills are required for this position.
Nice to have: Production experience with GenAI, LLMs, Recommendation Engines, and AWS offerings for AI and ML, including SageMaker, Bedrock, and Lex.
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or information systems is preferred.
