Description:

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Puzzle, you will be responsible for building sleek, high-powered UIs for a leading product in the subscription space.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop industry-leading functionality that enables merchants to manage their business features effectively.
Your role will involve laying the groundwork for the future of Stay through the creation of a rich component library, test suites, and frontend scaffolding.
Daily tasks may include working on the UI for new features, creating reusable React components, writing tests in Jest and Playwright, reviewing code from other engineers, and triaging frontend issues to maintain high quality.

Requirements:

You must have 5+ years of experience in building robust, well-crafted UIs using React and Typescript, including proper state management and data fetching.
Experience in defining API schemas and working with REST APIs for server communication is required.
A strong understanding of React's APIs and the render lifecycle, along with experience in debugging React render cycles and web performance issues, is essential.
You should have experience configuring and maintaining frontend build tools like Webpack, and working with testing frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, Storybook, and GitHub.
Knowledge of security and privacy best practices is necessary.
A deep passion for creating delightful visual experiences is expected.
Experience in collaborating with design teams to shape design systems for consistent and pixel-perfect UIs is important.
You must be able to thrive in a dynamic startup environment, demonstrating adaptability, curiosity, and a willingness to take initiative.
Nice to have: Experience in the CPG, eCommerce, and/or subscription management space, and familiarity with the Shopify platform and APIs.
