Remote Frontend Architect

• Veeva Systems is seeking a highly experienced and passionate Frontend Architect to join their team in Lisbon, Portugal.

• Responsibilities include designing and implementing innovative and scalable frontend architectures for complex web applications.
• The Frontend Architect will lead the development team in defining and implementing coding standards, best practices, and development processes.
• Collaboration with designers and back-end developers is essential to ensure seamless integration and a consistent user experience.
• The role requires developing and maintaining reusable UI components and design systems to ensure code consistency and maintainability.
• Implementing real-time collaboration features and managing complex state management in web applications is a key responsibility.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 10+ years of experience in web development.
• Experience with both frontend (React) and backend development, including API design (REST, GraphQL) is required.
• Familiarity with real-time communication protocols (WebSockets, gRPC) and complex state management solutions is necessary.
• A strong understanding of design principles and accessibility guidelines (WCAG) is essential.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges are required.
• A keen eye for detail, meticulousness, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results are important.
• The ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and influence others is necessary.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
