Description:

Veeva Systems is seeking a mid-to-senior level Front End Engineer (React) to join their team.
The role involves architecting and developing new and innovative web applications.
Engineers will work with cutting-edge technology and new product development in a rapidly growing company.
Responsibilities include building scalable web applications using open-source tools and technologies, utilizing REST and GraphQL APIs, and working independently while communicating progress to the team.
The engineer will lead technical planning, create user stories and technical acceptance criteria, and code.
They will identify and correct complex bugs, plan technical architectures to minimize performance issues, and implement front-end designs based on mock-ups.
The position requires the engineer to develop a front end using the latest responsive design techniques.
Candidates must be based in the UK and eligible for employment, as Veeva does not sponsor employment visa/permit processes.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in building scalable and reliable web applications is required.
Proficiency in React or another comparable JavaScript framework is essential.
A deep understanding of front-end technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, is necessary.
Candidates must possess unit testing and debugging skills.
The ideal candidate should be independent, self-managed, and motivated.
A good command of the English language is required.
Experience with Python, Django, AWS (or another cloud provider), any RDBS, Elasticsearch, and Redis is a plus.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems is preferred.
