Description:

Veeva Systems is seeking a mid-to-senior level Front End Engineer (React) to join their team in Portugal, working remotely.
The role involves architecting and developing new and innovative web applications.
The engineer will work with cutting-edge technology and participate in new product development.
Responsibilities include building scalable web applications using open-source tools, utilizing REST and GraphQL APIs, and working independently while communicating progress to the team.
The engineer will lead technical planning, create user stories and technical acceptance criteria, and code.
The position requires identifying and correcting complex bugs, planning technical architectures to minimize performance issues, and implementing front-end designs based on mock-ups.
The candidate must be based in Portugal and eligible for employment in the European Union, as Veeva does not sponsor employment visa/permit processes.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in building scalable and reliable web applications is required.
Proficiency in React or another comparable JavaScript framework is necessary.
A deep understanding of front-end technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, is essential.
The candidate must possess unit testing and debugging skills.
The individual should be independent, self-managed, and motivated.
A good command of the English language is required.
