Description:

  • The Investigo Group (TIG) is seeking a Frontend Engineer for a remote position based in the UK.
  • This is a full-time, permanent role with a competitive salary based on experience, along with benefits and bonus potential.
  • The successful candidate will be part of a small, collaborative engineering team within the Data & AI business unit, working closely with Software Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, and UX Designers.
  • The primary product involves a collaborative working platform with analytics job processing capabilities, allowing users to ingest, relate, analyze, and search various types of media and data.
  • Key responsibilities include designing and implementing complex, data-driven applications, collaborating with UX designers and backend developers, building and maintaining reusable UI component libraries, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices, and implementing accessibility standards.
  • The role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving complex UI issues while continuously seeking ways to improve user experience.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a proven experience as a Frontend Engineer with at least 3 years in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, ES6+, and CSS is required.
  • Expertise in at least one modern UI/UX framework, preferably React, but Svelte, Angular, or Vue will also be considered.
  • Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Zustand is necessary.
  • Proficiency with testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or Playwright for unit, end-to-end, and automation testing is required.
  • Candidates should have experience working with RESTful APIs and web services integration.
  • A strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and security best practices is essential.
  • Candidates must be eligible for SC clearance or willing to undergo vetting.
  • Soft skills required include being proactive, self-motivated, possessing strong communication skills, and having a team-oriented mindset.
