Description:
The Investigo Group (TIG) is seeking a Frontend Engineer for a remote position based in the UK.
This is a full-time, permanent role with a competitive salary based on experience, along with benefits and bonus potential.
The successful candidate will be part of a small, collaborative engineering team within the Data & AI business unit, working closely with Software Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, and UX Designers.
The primary product involves a collaborative working platform with analytics job processing capabilities, allowing users to ingest, relate, analyze, and search various types of media and data.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing complex, data-driven applications, collaborating with UX designers and backend developers, building and maintaining reusable UI component libraries, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices, and implementing accessibility standards.
The role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving complex UI issues while continuously seeking ways to improve user experience.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a proven experience as a Frontend Engineer with at least 3 years in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, ES6+, and CSS is required.
Expertise in at least one modern UI/UX framework, preferably React, but Svelte, Angular, or Vue will also be considered.
Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Zustand is necessary.
Proficiency with testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or Playwright for unit, end-to-end, and automation testing is required.
Candidates should have experience working with RESTful APIs and web services integration.
A strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and security best practices is essential.
Candidates must be eligible for SC clearance or willing to undergo vetting.
Soft skills required include being proactive, self-motivated, possessing strong communication skills, and having a team-oriented mindset.
