Description:
Toku is a high-tech global compensation and employment platform that offers real-time tax calculations and a unified global API for employment solutions.
The company specializes in processing non-cash compensation such as stock or token grants, making it a key partner for crypto companies and their law firms during token generation events (TGE).
The flagship product, Token Grant Administration (TGA), manages token cap tables and has rapidly gained billions of dollars in on-platform value since its launch.
As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for executing technical and cultural tasks, working on high-impact, user-facing products that are the first interaction users have with Toku.
You will collaborate closely with the sales and product teams, uphold best practices in code quality and API design, and ensure that systems and processes are well documented for scalability.
The role involves identifying opportunities for improvement and maintaining Toku’s high technical quality standards.
Requirements:
You must have 4+ years of experience in software engineering at a venture-backed startup.
The ability to write quality, maintainable code in a fast-paced, agile environment is essential.
You should take pride in completing projects that involve a variety of technologies and systems.
A self-starter attitude with the ability to execute new ideas autonomously is required.
You must be capable of integrating various services and processes, even if you have not previously worked with them.
Knowledge of high-quality code and software engineering processes is necessary, along with the ability to foster an environment that promotes them.
An interest or experience in working in a fast-paced remote-first startup is preferred.
You should be proactive and willing to engage hands-on with projects.
Experience in building front-end and back-end systems, launching, and scaling impactful products is required.
Exceptional teamwork, analytical/problem-solving, project management, and communication skills are essential.
A hustler mentality, including experience founding a company or building side projects, is a plus.
You must be located in the North America Time Zone.
