Description:

You will work with the Product Engineering team to build out the Okendo platform, focusing on engineering excellence and a product-driven mindset.
A strong foundation in software development principles and a proven ability to write clean, efficient code is required.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions that meet business requirements is essential.
Your role will involve problem-solving, testing, and deploying software while adhering to established coding standards and best practices.
The tech stack includes Vue for embeddable widgets and shopper-facing components, Angular for merchant admin, and React with Shopify integrations for the frontend.
The backend utilizes a serverless architecture on AWS, relying on API Gateway, CloudFront, S3, Lambda (Node.js), DynamoDB, Aurora, OpenSearch, SQS, and SNS.
The development process uses Terraform for Infrastructure as Code, TypeScript as the primary programming language, VS Code as the IDE, and Jira for Scrum.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer is required.
Broad-level understanding of system architecture and knowledge of the services used within the tech stack is necessary.
Proficiency in product features and how they are used, along with knowledge of team processes and standards, is expected.
Strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills are essential.
Ability to develop, test, and deploy software solutions while managing timelines and expectations is required.
Effective communication skills to participate in team discussions and build relationships within and across teams are important.
