The Fullstack Software Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the core platform used by compensation admins to build and operate sales compensation models.
Responsibilities include designing, building, optimizing, and maintaining CaptivateIQ's data and core platform functionality.
The role involves working across the full product stack to develop and improve product features.
Participation in the product development process from scoping projects to measuring success and iterating based on feedback is expected.
The engineer will maintain high engineering and security standards and continuously improve codebases and processes.
Collaboration with engineers across the company to develop and iterate at scale is essential.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 2+ years of experience in a software engineering role.
Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms, are required.
Experience with both frontend and backend development is necessary.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Experience with a relational database such as PostgreSQL or MySQL is required.
A demonstrated track record of taking responsibility and ownership over core product areas is necessary.
Candidates should have a sharp attention to detail and a user-centric focus.
Experience making data-driven decisions on product and process is required.
Experience building or maintaining a positive, productive remote-first culture is preferred.

The base salary range for this position is $157,490 - $188,597 a year, depending on individual proficiency, anticipated performance, and location.
