Description:

  • Zipdev is looking for a Mid-Level C# Backend Engineer to join their team and work with a US-based client in the automotive technology industry.
  • This is a hands-on role where the engineer will support an existing project by backfilling current engineers.
  • The work involves a variety of backend tasks and is not limited to a single product.
  • The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn.
  • Responsibilities include collaborating with the client's engineering team in a fully remote environment, building and maintaining efficient, high-quality .NET Core backends written in C#, and integrating multiple internal APIs across a microservices architecture.
  • The engineer will participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning, and work with technologies like Kubernetes, DevOps tools, and event-driven architecture.
  • Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential.
  • The engineer will also contribute to code reviews, documentation, and overall team improvement.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 3+ years of experience with C# and .NET Core.
  • A solid understanding of REST APIs, unit testing, and batch processing is required.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases is necessary.
  • Familiarity with event-driven systems and queue-based architectures is expected.
  • A strong sense of ownership and software reliability is important.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Candidates should be comfortable working with Kubernetes and DevOps automation.
  • The ability to work in a remote, Agile environment is essential.
  • A willingness to learn and grow within the team is expected.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.
  • Candidates must currently be living in LATAM.
