Description:
Havenly Brands is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Machine Learning Engineer to join their team.
This role is pivotal in leveraging proprietary data to develop data-driven tools and enhance user experiences across their portfolio of interior design and ecommerce brands.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data science and machine learning techniques to identify opportunities, improve processes, and implement innovative solutions.
Responsibilities include researching and applying advanced data science and machine learning techniques to build recommendation systems, enhance chat workflows, generate images, extract features from unstructured data, and predict trends.
The engineer will work as part of an agile team to identify opportunities to leverage proprietary data for building data-driven tools and experiences.
The role involves developing, training, and deploying machine learning models aimed at enhancing customer experiences and reinventing designer workflows.
Conducting exploratory analysis to identify opportunities for developing new features is also a key responsibility.
The engineer will engage in data engineering tasks, including accessing, transforming, modeling, and storing data to facilitate machine learning training and feature development.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience deploying machine learning models to production environments on cloud service providers, preferably GCP or AWS.
Proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning frameworks such as Tensorflow, Keras, and Scikit-learn is required.
A strong understanding of Neural Networks and their applications is essential.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of SQL and experience working with data warehouses such as Snowflake or BigQuery.
Experience with image processing in machine learning models is necessary.
Demonstrated ability to perform data engineering tasks, including data access, transformation, modeling, and storage, to enable machine learning pipelines is required.
A solid foundation in machine learning, statistics, and data analysis is essential.
An innovative mindset with the ability to identify and pursue opportunities for the application of machine learning and data science methods is important.
Excellent communication skills are required, with the ability to work as a thought partner to various stakeholders across the business.
A Master's degree in statistics, computer science, economics, mathematics, or a related field, or 5+ years of related work experience is necessary.
Benefits:
This is a full-time remote exempt position, with Denver candidates having the option to work hybrid.
The targeted compensation range for this role is $160,000 to $190,000 per year, dependent upon experience.
