Remote Machine Learning Engineer, Credit Modeling

Description:

• The Machine Learning Engineer will lead the development of cutting-edge machine learning software systems for credit modeling and default risk prediction.
• Responsibilities include designing and implementing credit ML models and systems, developing end-to-end ML pipelines, and collaborating with data scientists and software engineers to integrate ML models into production environments.
• The role involves working with petabyte-scale datasets, deploying high-throughput, low-latency systems, and ensuring the systems meet the needs of over 65 million customers daily.
• Utilize cloud platforms like AWS to scale ML solutions, manage resources, and optimize costs.
• Expected to have 3+ years of experience in developing credit ML models, proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, Java/Scala, and expertise in TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, scikit-learn, and XGBoost.
• The ideal candidate should have a strong background in supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and ensemble methods.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience in developing and implementing credit ML models or systems within the banking or FinTech industry.
• Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, Java/Scala, and familiarity with tools like Apache Spark.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred), along with knowledge of MLOps practices.
• Strong knowledge of database management systems, data wrangling, feature engineering, ETL processes, and SQL databases.
• Expertise in TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, scikit-learn, and XGBoost.
• Proficiency with Jupyter Notebooks, Git, Jenkins, Apache Spark, and Hadoop.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, adaptability, and willingness to learn new technologies.
