Jobgether is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer for a remote position in the United States.
This role involves designing, building, and deploying production-grade machine learning systems that drive business outcomes.
As a Staff-level Machine Learning Engineer, you will collaborate with engineering and data science teams to lead initiatives, scale infrastructure, and influence long-term ML strategy.
The ideal candidate should be skilled in model development, deployment, and performance optimization, with a hands-on approach to solving complex, data-driven problems in real-time environments.
Key accountabilities include leading machine learning initiatives from concept to deployment, designing scalable real-time inference systems, building and improving ML models, establishing monitoring processes, mentoring engineering teams, defining standards for model development, and collaborating with various teams to align ML solutions with business strategy.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in machine learning, including at least 2 years in a staff or senior engineering role.
Expertise in Python, SQL, Spark, Databricks, and cloud platforms such as AWS is required.
A deep understanding of ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and XGBoost is essential.
Proven experience in building and deploying LLMs and scalable ML applications is necessary.
Familiarity with model serving, feature stores, streaming pipelines, and MLOps tools is expected.
Strong analytical skills with a background in statistics and large-scale data modeling are required.
Excellent communication skills are necessary to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
A Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred.

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $150,000 to $170,000, along with a 20% annual bonus.
