The Back-End Engineer will work directly with leadership and the product team to make decisions about code and product future.
The role involves contributing to the build of a complex ecommerce marketplace in the Chemicals space.
The engineer will focus on shipping features quickly while maintaining code quality.
Responsibilities include owning projects from software design to implementation and deployment.
The position emphasizes implementing cutting-edge technologies and writing high-quality code.
The engineer is expected to produce elegant code that is simple and pragmatic.

Requirements:

Candidates must have good knowledge of Ruby language and Rails framework with at least 3 years of experience.
A strong understanding of SQL is required.
The ability to take tasks from requirements to deployment is essential.
Candidates should be able to work within distributed, multidisciplinary teams.
Experience in designing and building scalable, high-availability mission-critical systems and APIs is necessary.
High attention to detail is a must.
The ability to design and implement a clear and scalable project structure is required.
Experience with test-driven development and the ability to create and maintain a useful test suite is needed.
Fluency in speaking and writing English is required, along with fluency in Polish.

The position offers the flexibility to work from Rzeszów or Białystok office in Poland, or remotely from Poland.
