Description:
The Network Engineer SME will be responsible for network management and maintenance.
They will provide escalated support and troubleshooting for network issues.
Creating network diagrams and other documentation will be part of their responsibilities.
They will support the company's transition to modern cloud operations.
Staying updated on industry trends and integrated technologies is essential.
Conducting analysis, design, and preparing technical documentation for new toolsets and processes.
Building strong relationships with scrum teams, engineers, architects, vendors, contractors, and leadership.
Advocating for the use of configuration management tools for infrastructure in a hybrid cloud model.
Aligning system capabilities with the overall solution and business strategy.
Fulfilling IT Service Management roles including incident, problem, and change management.
Requirements:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in network engineering.
Proficiency in Splunk, Cisco, RHEL-8, scripting, and SAN technologies.
Expertise in writing scripts and experience with SAN systems.
Strong knowledge of network management and maintenance.
Ability to troubleshoot network issues effectively.
Experience in creating network diagrams and technical documentation.
Familiarity with modern cloud operations.
Up-to-date with industry trends and integrated technologies.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Knowledge of IT Service Management processes.
