Description:

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to join our team to integrate and manage payment processors seamlessly.
The main responsibility will be integrating the API key for payment processing into the PHP framework.
The focus will be on Authorize.net for credit card checks, with future plans to potentially add other processors like TSYS and others if additional partnerships arise.
The position is remote and part-time, with a schedule from 9 AM to 1 PM CST.
Key responsibilities include integrating the API key for Authorize.net, working with the payment processor TSYS, preparing for future integrations, providing ongoing technical support, testing and debugging payment flows, and implementing best practices in payment data security.

Requirements:

Strong experience in PHP development is required.
Familiarity with integrating Authorize.net API or similar payment gateways is necessary.
Experience with TSYS or other payment processors is a plus.
Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration is essential.
Understanding of PCI Compliance and security standards for handling payment data is required.
Experience with error handling, testing, and debugging payment integration systems is necessary.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git is required.
Good communication skills to collaborate with other teams and partners are essential.
Previous experience working with payment gateways and e-commerce platforms is preferred.
Understanding of JavaScript and front-end technologies to support integration on the front end is preferred.
