Zencore is a fast-growing company founded by former Google Cloud leaders, architects, and engineers.
The company is seeking candidates with significant experience in Google Cloud to join their team.
The role involves eliminating obstacles, reducing risk, and accelerating timelines for customers transitioning to Google and seeking assistance with data and application modernization.
The Principal Architect, Data Solutions will showcase thought leadership and engineering skills along with experience with data systems and Google Cloud.
This position is a key technical leader in the engineering organization and acts as the external face of technical expertise.
Responsibilities include working with clients to understand their requirements and technical challenges, developing solutions using cloud technology, and evangelizing the value of these solutions to client teams.
The role requires developing estimates for skills and timelines to deliver Zencore projects and turning these estimates into clear proposals.
The Principal Architect will act as the lead technical member of the project team, ensuring technical delivery stays on track and unblocking issues as they arise.
Mentorship within the engineering organization is expected, with the Principal Architect being an expert in their technical domain and enabling others to up-skill.

Requirements:

Candidates must have the ability to understand business problems and user requirements and translate them into a technology vision and solution modules.
The ability to navigate between big picture and detailed thinking is essential.
Experience in executing large-scale business and technology change, including key stakeholder management, is required.
Familiarity with common data engineering tools such as DBT, Airflow, NiFi, and Spark is necessary.
Candidates should be well-versed in software development best practices.
Experience writing high-quality software, preferably in Python or Java, is required.
Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.
Google Cloud experience is preferred.
