Description:

JumpCloud is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for their Turkey region, with a focus on building new technology initiatives.
The role involves tackling complex problems, serving as a technical leader on cross-functional projects, and contributing to the long-term technical vision of the engineering team.
Responsibilities include functional decomposition of complex problems, driving architecture, defining best practices, and enabling platform quality.
The engineer will work alongside other Principal Engineers and Architects to drive a shared strategy and implement AI to enhance productivity.
Mentoring individuals on advanced technical issues and balancing technical leadership with business judgment are also key aspects of the role.
The position is remote, and candidates must be located in and authorized to work in Turkey.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 15+ years of experience as an engineer leading complex engineering projects.
Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or GCP is required.
Strong knowledge of programming languages, particularly Go or Node, is essential.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling.
Experience in a distributed systems environment is necessary.
The ability to work with ambiguity and drive clarity while delivering incremental value is important.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-moving, team-oriented, collaborative environment is required.
A strong technical foundation in software engineering design principles is essential.
Experience working with geographically diverse engineering teams in a remote-first work environment is necessary.
