Description:

  • The Product Data Analyst position is based in London and is a full-time role at incident.io, a leading platform for incident management.
  • The company has helped over 800 organizations, including Netflix and Airbnb, resolve more than 250,000 incidents since its launch in 2021.
  • The Data team is expanding, and the new analyst will work closely with product managers and engineers to convert data into actionable insights that influence feature prioritization, UX improvements, and roadmap decisions.
  • The role combines aspects of Analytics Engineering and Data Analytics, with a focus on the latter, allowing the analyst to define projects and analyze a wide range of data.
  • Responsibilities include partnering with product teams, building and maintaining data models in BigQuery and dbt, developing reports in Omni, conducting ad-hoc analyses, and promoting data best practices across the Product team.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have a strong foundation in data analytics, data science, or analytics engineering practices, and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using dbt is essential, including experience in building and maintaining data pipelines and implementing robust tests.
  • Strong product intuition and communication skills are required, with the ability to ask insightful questions and present complex results in a clear, non-technical manner.
  • The ideal candidate should be a self-starter who can identify high-leverage opportunities and manage projects from start to finish, balancing quick wins with long-term initiatives.
  • Candidates must thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy contributing to process development within a small, growing team.
