Description:
The Provider Data Analyst is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate healthcare provider information within organizational databases to support network operations.
The role involves intake of provider data from multiple sources, evaluating and preparing data submissions according to internal business rules and platform requirements to ensure a successful load.
The analyst will ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems by performing regular audit and validation checks to maintain high-quality data.
Collaboration with internal teams is required to gather and verify provider profile information.
The position includes generating reports and providing data analysis to support decision-making processes.
The analyst will assist in developing and implementing data management procedures and policies.
Responding to data-related inquiries and providing support to other departments as needed is also part of the role.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards is essential.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required.
The candidate must have 3+ years of work experience in healthcare.
Proven experience in using data management, load, and analysis tools is necessary.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills are required.
The candidate must demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills are essential.
The role requires excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues and solutions to multiple organizational levels internally and externally.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team is necessary.
The candidate must be able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Preferred qualifications include experience with data analysis applications (e.g., SQL, Microsoft Access, Excel, Tableau) and familiarity with healthcare provider data, platforms, and regulatory requirements.
