The advocate will contribute to open source Rust-based projects to maintain Collabora's technical leadership.
The position involves promoting Rust-based solutions to clients and representing Collabora at conferences and trade shows.
The advocate will also gain knowledge of customers’ products, applications, and target markets.

Requirements:

Proficiency in Rust and familiarity with writing both low and high-level code is required.
Knowledge of open source development methodologies and relevant open source communities is essential.
A passion for helping other developers is necessary.
Good English language skills, both verbal and written, are required.
The ability to work and communicate effectively in a fully distributed online environment is essential.
Strong collaboration and listening skills are necessary, with the ability to solicit honest feedback early and often.
Self-learning skills to acquire knowledge of Collabora's services, business model, and project delivery life cycle are desired.
A BS/BA degree or relevant experience in the role of Engineer is preferred.
