Description:

  • CellarTracker is seeking a Senior Azure Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize their cloud infrastructure and support CI/CD pipelines.
  • This role is crucial for maintaining the reliability, scalability, and security of systems as the company innovates in digital wine experiences.
  • Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining Azure-based infrastructure, leveraging Azure services effectively.
  • The engineer will develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
  • Collaboration with developers and stakeholders is essential to create, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for smooth automated deployments.
  • The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and enhancing infrastructure and pipeline reliability and security.
  • Documentation of infrastructure, IaC scripts, and best practices is required, along with training developers on IaC principles and DevOps processes.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in Azure infrastructure management, cloud infrastructure design, and DevOps pipeline management.
  • A deep understanding of core Azure services, including VMs, networking, storage, and security solutions is required.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates is necessary, with experience in managing and deploying cloud resources programmatically.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, particularly in Azure DevOps, is essential, focusing on creating, managing, and troubleshooting pipelines.
  • Candidates should be proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation and process improvement.
  • Knowledge of Azure security best practices, including identity management, WAF, and access policies is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to own projects from ideation to execution are necessary.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and experience working closely with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders in a DevOps setting are important.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is required.
