Description:

Teleport is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join their engineering team, responsible for the Teleport Access Platform, a unified access plane for SSH, Kubernetes, and Database infrastructure.
The platform is trusted by leading companies like Nasdaq, SumoLogic, and Samsung Electronics for securing access to their infrastructure.
The role involves working on backend integrations with cloud provider's managed databases, scalability and resiliency of clusters with 10K+ nodes, implementing advanced HTTPS proxy with identity-aware access control, and building hardened security for Linux and Mac users.
The position offers the opportunity to work on open-source projects primarily written in Golang with web-based UIs in JavaScript with React.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have experience in Golang or Rust programming languages.
Strong background in Linux systems engineering is required.
Experience in cryptography engineering is a plus for this role.

The base salary range for this position is between $204,000 and $255,000 for a level 4, and between $212,000 and $313,000 for a level 5, with individual pay determined by location, skills, experience, and education.
