Description:

Perceptyx is hiring a Senior Cloud Network Engineer to design, build, and support the network infrastructure for cloud and internal systems.
This role is responsible for maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available network solutions across AWS and on-prem environments.
The engineer will manage core network services, including firewalls, DNS, and routing, ensuring performance, security, and uptime across both commercial and FedRAMP-compliant environments.
Responsibilities include architecting and deploying reliable AWS network infrastructure, working with advanced networking features, implementing network segmentation strategies, and developing cloud security controls.
The role involves automating the provisioning and management of cloud networking resources using IaC tools, setting up monitoring/logging for network health and security, and collaborating with various teams.
The engineer will stay current with AWS networking updates and participate in an on-call rotation for critical issues.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience building and running cloud networks, with a strong focus on AWS and SaaS environments.
A solid knowledge of AWS networking services and the ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot complex cloud networking solutions is required.
Proficiency in AWS networking services such as VPC, subnets, routing, security groups, and advanced networking features is essential.
Hands-on experience with automation tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible for cloud networking provisioning is necessary.
A strong understanding of network segmentation, cloud security best practices, and experience in implementing network-level security controls is required.
Familiarity with networking protocols and concepts, as well as comfort working with EC2, S3, Kubernetes, virtual machines, and CI/CD pipelines, is expected.
Clear communication skills and the ability to work well across teams are important.
Bonus points for experience with FedRAMP compliance, Palo Alto, and Cisco firewalls.
